How many words, how many dependent clauses
Does it take till you hear your sentence
Logomachy and grammar, use rhetoric like a hammer
Compassion, well it doesn’t even get a mention

But of course no collusion
The delusion of fusion led to multiple contusions
And the final report, it wasn’t short

I was dinged, I was donged
I was matter-of-facted
In the right or dead wrong
I was redacted

What is the difference – eloquence or glibness
Would it matter if I had your confession
Would it matter if you swore it under oath, under penalty
Romance and tyranny – good intentions
You don’t know what’s true, by you I mean you

The transcript ripped from the headlines tripped
The auto-alarm, worked like a charm

I was taxed, anti-vaxxed

I got named, shamed and blamed
I was caught-in-the-acted
